The Search for Ten Outstanding Alumni (TOA) of SBC

Introduction

Southern Baptist College believes that one measure that can gauge the success of any given educational institution is by way of looking at the heights and level of accomplishments reached, thus far, by its products in their chosen field of profession, its alumni.

The alumni are important parts of the institution in a sense that they radiate the ideals of their Alma Mater. They can also become effective and indispensable partners in the continued growth of the college, holistically.

The SBC Alumni Association hereby launches, as part of this year’s celebration, the Search for Ten Outstanding Alumni of Southern Baptist College.  It is along this primacy of the alumni that the Search for Ten Outstanding Alumni (TOA) every five years has been conceptualized.

This tradition was started in 2002 in connection with the Golden Anniversary of the college. This year is the Emerald Anniversary of the College. All alumni are enjoined to participate, either as nominator or nominee in this activity.

Verse of The Day
“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our aim is not only to make the child understand, and still less to force him to memorize, but so to touch his imagination as to enthuse him to his innermost core.
